Great stay for the money and comfort

Everything was great including access to Tokyo center, comfort of the room, etc...

Though it was equipped with kitchen, it was equipped with nothing till when you ask staff to provide something..

What was the highlight of HOTEL MYSTAYS Kiyosumi Shirakawa

Overall the hotel is a good option to consider, specially if one is looking for a basic kitchen.

Hotel MyStays Kiyosumi Shirakawa is located at a decent place with around 12 minutes walking distance from Kiyosumi-Shirakawa and Morishita Subway stations. I was with my wife and our 11 month old baby. We made use of the decent kitchen facilities provided by the hotel for our room. It may not as exhaustive as some apartments, but we were able to make do. The reception supports luggage delivery and the skilled English speaking staff made the process easy for us. The restaurants and supermarkets are within 10-15 mins walk. The Kiyosumi Garden is also at a walking distance.

The hotel also has a common laundry area. But its use cost us extra. Our bed was on the smaller end of us 3 but the room was spacious. The room was fairly clean, but we did find some minor uncleaned sections (nothing major though).

Value for money

Considering the price paid, this was an excellent choice. The apartment is located on a quiet street, approximately 7-10 minutes of a walk from 2 train stations with 3 different lines in total, so it is convenient to transport all around the city. Accommodation also was inclusive of all necessary amenities such as shampoo, body wash, conditioner, toothbrushes etc.

The hotel has a policy of "no room clean-up", so you need to clean on your own. This includes no towel changing, no bed-sheets changing and no one entering the room in general, so I wouldn't recommend this for long stays. Also, at least for the 3 bed apartment that I booked, photos were not detailed enough for me to understand what the room is like, although at the end it was better than I expected. In any case, more photos should be added, for the guests to have a clear understanding.

Calm and Comfy

Location was perfect. So, to get to everywhere by subway, you just need to walk for 5 minutes. The staff was kind and helpful.

We had some cleaning issues on the first day, but they were resolved once I spoke with the front desk. They immediately sent the housekeeping and solved the problem in 10 minutes.

Overall, we liked the place. Affordable, spacious and clean.

We got their biggest room and it’s very spacious. I can open 2 oversized luggages at the same time. It has its own mini kitchen with microwave and sink. Toiletries and slippers are available 24/7 at the lobby. Ice, drinking water, washing machine and Dryer were also available in the lobby pantry. 10-15mins walk to the train station. 10mins walk to the to main road which family mart, 7:11 and restos are located. They have luggage delivery service in the conceirge.

Not soundproof. You can hear the voices of other guests in the next room.

The staff is very helpful, they try their best even if their English is not perfect. The location is closed to the subway station but far from the city center.
